The Supreme Court of Pakistan definitively chose the topic of authenticity during marriage in Ghazala Tehsin Zohra v. Ghulam Dastagir Khan. [10] A decisive suit was recorded by the dad, looking for a statement such that he was not the organic dad of the youngsters brought into the world during the resource of the marriage. 

While articulating judgement, the Supreme Court established that once the important realities concerning the initiation and disintegration of marriage and the date of birth of a youngster inside the period imagined in Article 128 of QSO had been demonstrated and the date of birth had been inside the period determined in the said Article, the court couldn't permit proof to be given for negating the authenticity of a kid brought into the world inside the said period. Further, the court articulated the standards of Muslim individual regulation as indicated by which paternity should be denied by the dad either following the introduction of the kid (according to Imam Abu Hanifa) or inside the post-natal period, which is a limit of 40 days after the introduction of the kid (according to Imam Muhammad and Imam Yousuf). It was held that to maintain the honour and poise of ladies and blameless kids, as well as shield the value put on the foundation of the family, no legal forswearing of paternity could be made after the specified periods.
